von Manchester City offenbar eine Ausnahme. Um das Mittelfeldspiel des Premier-League-Clubs voranzubringen, holt Guardiola den am Knie verletzten Gündogan, 25, aus Dortmund auf die Insel. Nach übereinstimmenden Berichten von "Daily Telegraph", "Sport-Bild" und "Kicker" erhält der BVB rund 25 Millionen Euro Ablösesumme. Dieser Betrag soll
sich noch erhöhen, sollte Gündogan bei seinem neuen Verein Titel holen. Gündogan hat noch einen Vertrag bis 2017 in Dortmund. Gündogan hatte wegen einer langwierigen Verletzung schon die WM in Brasilien verpasst und konnte wegen einer Rückenverletzung erst nach rund 14 Monaten Pause wieder spielen. Damals verlängerte er während der Rehabilitation seinen Vertrag. Der Wechsel ist auch für Guardiola ein Risiko, wie der "Telegraph" schreibt. In seiner ersten Saison wird der spanische
Star-Trainer besonders beäugt werden. Nach München hatte Guardiola damals auch seinen Liebling Thiago geholt, der ebenfalls als verletzungsanfällig gilt. Gündogans Wechsel schien bereits vor einigen Wochen klar, ehe sich der Mittelfeldstar beim Basketball die Kniescheibe ausrenkte und nun bis September oder sogar Mitte Oktober ausfallen wird. He joked: “I am disappointed that they didn’t go to my restaurant. Gundo will not play one more game this season! “I’m going to invite her and [Ilkay] Gundogan to TAST [the Tapas bar] and of course, they are going to eat properly.”
