n. a general rule or fundamental principle which applies to all, especially in a particular field such as science, religion, or art. As a standard rule and working principle, it leads one to make the right inferences. It further directs both thought and behavior.

Canon (one “n”) refers to a collection of rules or texts that are considered to be authoritative. Shakespeare and Chaucer are part of the canon of Western literature, so you might read their work in an English class.

A canon can also be a body of work, like the Shakespeare canon, which includes all of the Bard's plays and poems. These days, many schools and colleges include more diverse and underrepresented authors in literature classes and encourage students to read works not included in the standard literary canon. The literary canon can change with time, and so can the cultural canon. Don't confuse this word with cannon with two n's, the big gun that shoots bowling-size balls at the enemy.

Was bedeutet der Begriff ,,canon", wenn jemand sagt der das Ship canon ist?

Ich gucke grade z.B den Anime Fairy Tail und manche sagen das paar Ships canons sind.

Ich würde mich freuen , wenn ihr mir das Wort erklären könntet :)

Canon bedeutet, der Inhalt der Folge kommt auch so im Originalwerk vor. Bei Anime sind das meist Manga, Light Novel oder auch Visuel Novels.

Shipping bedeutet nichts anderes, als das Zusammenführen verschiedener Charaktere zu einem Paar. Auch wenn diese nicht offiziell zusammen sind. Fans wünschen sich gerne nur eine Beziehung zwischen diesen. Ein Beispiel wäre bei Fairy Tail Natsu und Lucy.

Das bedeutet, dass es mit der Story des Filmes/Buches verläuft

also keine erheblichen Plotveränderungen vorgenommen wurden

wenn du in Harry Potter, gegen Band 7, Ron und Hermine shippst ist das noch Canon

bei Harry und Luna hingegen wäre das altered universe (AU)

Bei fiktionalen Werken stellt der  Kanon jenes Material dar, welches als offiziell gültig für das fiktive Universum anerkannt wird. [1] Oftmals wird der Begriff als Antonym zu Fan-Fiction gebraucht, wobei der Kanon hierbei „das originale Werk ist, von dem der Fan-Fiction-Autor borgt“. [2] Obwohl  Kanon im Deutschen ein Nomen ist, wird der Begriff umgangssprachlich auch als prädikative Ergänzung gebraucht („Kanon sein“ wie „Teil des Kanons sein“, z. B. „Dieses Buch/Ereignis ist nicht Kanon!“).

Canon = Nach den Gedanken des Mangaka bzw. Erstellers - so wie es der Mangaka/ Autor sich ausgedacht hat - offielle Pairings.

Non-canon ist sowas wie die ganzen Yaoi-Fujoshiships, wo bei jeder Andeutung die Freaks gleich ausrasten.

Also was Ship heisst, weiss ich in dem Zusammenhang nicht. Der Kanon einer fortlaufenden Geschichte ist allerdings all das was der Urheber oder der Vertreter selbigen als Inhalt autorisiert. Beispielsweise gibt es zu Star Wars auch vielerlei Bücher, die alternative Versionen von Episode VII erzählten, lange bevor sie überhaupt gedreht war. Diese sind nicht als Star Wars Kanon zu werten, weil die später entstandenen Filme den Büchern gänzlich widersprechen.
