Aber nicht nur der Medienrummel soll Polina Glen die Beziehung zu dem „Fluch der Karibik“-Star schwer gemacht haben. Auch der anhaltende Streit mit dessen Ex-Gattin Amber Heard habe an den Nerven gezerrt, heißt es weiter. „Johnny hat sich von seinem Rosenkrieg mit Amber ablenken lassen und sie glaubte nicht, dass es die richtige Zeit war, sich ernsthaft auf etwas einzulassen“, so der Insider weiter.

Kennengelernt hatten sich Depp und Glen Anfang 2018 bei einer Party in Los Angeles. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt habe die junge Russin nicht gewusst, wer der Hollywoodstar ist, wurde gemunkelt. Zum ersten Mal zusammen gesehen wurden die beiden bei einem Spaziergang im Mai 2018 in Moskau, wo Depp mit seiner Band The Hollywood Vampires auf Tour war.

Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass Johnny Depp sich die Trennung nicht allzu sehr zu Herzen nimmt und in Unmengen an Alkohol ertränkt. Immerhin zeigten sich Freunde des Schauspielers letzte Woche besorgt über den ungesunden Alkoholkonsum des 54-Jährigen und befürchteten, dass dieser „mit diesem Konsumverhalten nur noch Wochen zu leben hat“.

She’s the leggy Russian go-go dancer who found love with Johnny Depp despite being less than half his age.

But now Polina Glen, 24, has ended her relationship with the 56-year-old Hollywood superstar and fled back to her homeland after finding the attention surrounding her ‘scary’, according to friends.

When the story of their affair was first reported earlier this year, pictures emerged showing a striking Ms Glen – then just 17 – dancing on a bartop in a St Petersburg club.

Her relationship with Depp is said to have been formed as he was recovering from his tumultuous marriage to actress Amber Heard and subsequent divorce. The divorce was finalised in January 2017 but Depp has since been locked in legal disputes with his ex over allegations of abuse in the marriage. It had been said that Depp and Ms Glen were even considering getting married after she moved into his mansion in Hollywood after just a few weeks.

But now any thought of a wedding has been dismissed by Hollywood sources. One close insider said: ‘Polina hated the attention the relationship was bringing her and found it scary.

‘She’s now keeping her head down in Russia and told Johnny plans to get married were madness.’

The dancer reportedly told pals weeks into their relationship that Depp was desperate to meet her father Gennady and her veterinarian mother Irina – who is four years younger than him.

The insider said: ‘Despite sneers that Polina was only with Johnny for his fame, she kept her head down while living with him, going to her dance choreography job and then back to his house.

‘His level of celebrity and his ongoing battle with Amber grew too much for her.

Polina is thought to have spent the spring and part of the summer moving between Johnny’s Hollywood home and Russia but has now returned home ‘for the foreseeable future’, according to the source.

After Depp and Heard separated, he agreed to pay her £5.6 million, which she said she would donate to two charities.
